Liz & Wan set up and
ran Sync City Studios then Scarlet Recording Studio and Scarlet Records in
London from 1989 until they relocated to Lincolnshire in 2003 before their
young son started school.
Liz has been a professional
singer, touring live, doing vocal sessions and writing and recording songs
since she was 16. She formed 'Auburn' in 1998 and released 2 singles before
debut album 'Dreams' in UK (Scarlet Records) and Europe (Dance Street Records)
with the last single 'Cry' video reaching top 10 in the indie video charts.
Liz has been teaching vocals and running music workshops for over 20
years. She also freelances as a music consultant, lecturer and music
facilitator for many organizations including New Deal for Musicians, UEL, Leeds
School of Music, Global Music, Soundlincs, NK Arts and many more.
She
continues to run Scarlet Records and manages Scarlet Music Services, as well as
delivering many of the music workshops and services herself and is now vocal
advisor for SING UP (Music Manifestos National Singing
campaign) Lincolnshire area leaders soundLINCS and is Vocal Force (workforce
development Sing Up) for South Holland.

Wan trained at
Hurricane Studios in South London in 1990, and has been engineering, recording
and producing ever since. |

Wan was a professional drummer for
over 15 years, playing, recording and touring with many bands including Paul
Dianno's 'Battlezone' before he became a full time engineer, only picking up
his sticks again to play with Liz and 'Auburn' in 2003, touring UK and Europe
with Sophie Ellis Bextor, playing to over 40,000, after producing the 'Dreams'
album to great acclaim.
Wan has worked in the studio with many artists
including, The Jellys, Afro Celts, The Popes, Dick Hecksall-Smith, Tom Newman
and many more, covering all styles of music. |
